Jennifer Hruska. Jennifer Hruska is the owner of Firefly Recording and actively produces and engineers sessions for the studios diverse musicians and artists. A 20+ year veteran in audio production, Jennifer has a unique blend of sharp engineering skills and business chops while never losing sight of each project’s unique musical voice. In addition to Firefly’s projects, Jennifer is the owner and president of SONiVOX (formerly Sonic Implants), one of the leading music software companies where she has produced sample libraries and virtual instrument products since 1993 (www.sonivoxmi.com).

SONiVOX sound libraries can be heard throughout the industry in major motion pictures, TV shows and commercials, artist CDs and high end music software products such as Ableton Live, Native Instruments KORE, Sibelius Music Products, and many others. Prior to Firefly and SONiVOX, Jennifer was senior sound designer at Kurzweil Music Systems for 9 years where she co-developed the company’s award winning K2000 and K2500 synthesizers. Jennifer writes and lectures regularly and was recently featured in the book “Art of Digital Music” as one of the industry’s top 56 visionaries.

Jennifer specializes in digital audio, MIDI, alternative controllers, and synthesizers. She works primarily in Logic Pro and secondarily in Pro Tools and Ableton Live.
