Luke Price is an up and coming musician studying Professional Music and Song-writing at Berklee College of Music. Raised in Idaho, he began playing at six and started competing and performing at the age of eight. Since then, he has won a host of State,
 

Regional, and National contests including: The National Old-Time Fiddle Contest in 1998 and 2001; 4th, 5th, and 6th Place in the National Grand Championship division; 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Place at the Fiddler's Frolics in Texas; and 3rd Place in the Grand Master's Fiddler Championship in Nashville. Luke continues to compete nationally, as well as perform across the country in acoustic and bluegrass bands.

After rising in the fiddling circuit, Luke has broadened his musical versatility to include jazz and many other styles. He enjoys playing any style, but is very interested in jazz, different combinations of styles, and new sounds. After coming to Berklee for a year, Luke has continued to separate himself in his studies and earned the top achievement scholarship in the Berklee String Department. While continuing to play traditional fiddle styles, Luke is also developing original sounds and music as well as playing in the area.
