Wesley Cole Switzer, often referred to around the studio as "the business," grew up tracking projects in his fathers all analog southern California studio, Orange Grove Recording.  After mastering the concepts of recording high quality projects to 1/2", and 2" tape, Switzer was offered a scholarship to attend Berklee College of Music where he studied both Music Production and Engineering and Music Synthesis, with his principle instrument being electric bass.

As a sought after bassist, Wesley Cole Switzer is currently recording and performing with some of the Northeast's top musicians. Through 2006/2007 alone, Switzer has built a resume that includes performances on international tours through Tokyo, and study with Matt Garrison of the Herbie Hancock Band, as well as with Anthony Wellington of the Victor Wooten Band. Additionally, his consistent gigs include The Zach Hillyard Band (John Lennon Songwriting Prize, 2007), The Brooke Parrott Band (Ten Till Six Records, Plymouth Music Competetion Finalist) –Rebecca Muir (as seen at the Berklee College of Music 60th Anniversary Concert with Paul Simon, Herbie Hancock), Juri Jinnai; Neo-Souls, and Average Bear.  Switzer is also proudly endorsed by Moog Electronics, Eden Amplification, and Dean Markley Strings.

Wes is known for his vibrant, present mixes, which he achieves by working closely with the artist to understand their vision as both an engineer and producer. With a specialty in funk, jazz, rock, folk, and pop, his versatile nature enables every project to have it's own unique sound within a crystal clear mix.   He also offers valuable productions skills to clients, which can include arrangement and instrumentation writing for strings, horns, backing vocals, and various other instruments, as well as being a talented session player on a variety of instruments including electric bass (4-5-6 string fretted/fretless), upright bass, guitar, and drums.
